The US House of Representatives approved four amendments from September 27 to 28 aimed at strengthening ties between the US and Taiwan:

- 🇹🇼 Amendment about “fair cards” . Prohibits the U.S. Department of Defense from "creating, procuring, or displaying " any maps that depict Taiwan as part of Chinese territory

- 📝 An amendment removing State Department restrictions on interactions between American and Taiwanese officials, including military and civilian

- 🇺🇸An amendment allowing Taiwanese leaders to remain in the United States during long trips

- ☎️ An amendment lifting restrictions on communication between American officials and Taiwanese officials
