#MustWatchFilm: Award-winning animated documentary “Eternal Spring” explores the issue of authoritarian government and #mediacontrol, and shows what tragic things can happen when a government attempts to undermine #freedom of speech, assembly, and belief. The atrocities and #injustices that are taking place in the world today would not be possible "without the construction and maintenance of a false narrative," says filmmaker Jason Loftus, who faced threats and interference from the #CCP while working on the film. The film’s U.S. premiere screening is coming up at the New York Human Rights Watch Film Festival on May 23 and May 24.
