WHO Director-General Tedros: SAGO is currently completing an independent assessment of how the COVID-19 outbreak began. As I have said many times to senior Chinese leaders, China's cooperation is critical to this process. This includes information about the Huanan Seafood Market, the earliest known and suspected COVID-19 cases, and the work conducted in laboratories in Wuhan, China. Without this information, none of us can rule out any hypothesis. Unless China shares this data, the origins of COVID-19 will remain largely unknown.
